Welcome to El Dorado Hills Taekwondo! I’m Master Nick Beard, a 6th Degree Black Belt and lifelong resident of the El Dorado Hills area. For over 30 years, Taekwondo has been more than a martial art to me; it’s been a way to grow stronger, build character, and connect deeply with others. I’ve had the privilege of teaching over 1,000 students, many of whom started as shy beginners and grew into confident black belts and leaders in their own right.
As a father, coach, and community member, I understand how important it is to find a place where your child feels supported, challenged, and inspired. That’s exactly what we’ve built here. Whether your goal is to help your child develop discipline and focus, build self-esteem, or simply find a positive outlet, Taekwondo offers a path forward.
In addition to competing nationally and earning multiple championship titles, I now serve as the National Director of Instruction for the Moo Do Taekwondo Association, helping shape the future of our art across the country. My greatest joy is right here at home, watching students grow, families thrive, and our community come together.
My goal is simple: to create an environment where every student, child, teen, and adult, can discover their strength, build lasting confidence, and succeed in life through the values of Taekwondo.
